 | Hi Eve and Will, I am really sorry to read that you did not enjoy Friday night with us. We took a rare night off, as we approach such a busy quarter with Halloween, Christmas and NYE. But, as we approach our fifth year, I hope you’ll agree that we are most definitely succeeding….
There are quite detailed legal reasons that we do not show porn (too boring to get in to here) and the LBTV content within in the club is a mix of music videos and lifestyle vacation reviews from our partners who kindly give us so many prizes to give away to members each year. Yes, we include some light-hearted naked news clips.. but hardly Benny Hill. Ironically, we get more positive feedback than negative about the fact that we do NOT show endless 1970’s porn, like some venues.
Of course, we want you to enjoy every night with us and I am delighted that you have enjoyed your previous visits to LB, on couples only Saturdays. Yes, Fridays can be challenging if one or other within a couple is not totally secure about the presence of single males. But, they have a right to enjoy the scene too and many couples choose Fridays specifically to engage with single males. Other than personal interviews, which are just not practicable, we vet applicants more highly than any club we know. Further, we do not have an open-door policy and mandatory ID checks make people act more responsibly than operators who admit anyone with no precautions or policy whatsoever.
Moreover, we even reduced the number admitted on Friday to ensure that a balance with couples and single ladies remained proportionate. I am not aware of any other club that turns business away in the interests of its members? That said, we still expect them to behave properly and we take your comments constructively.
Two of our team on Friday night hold SIA security accreditation, and, had you raised any concerns on the night, we would have sought out any miscreants. We cannot though, identify anybody if you do not tell us at the time!
I apologise that the upper playroom was closed on Friday. We required some new beds because the others have simply been worn out by all the non-stop play… You could not be warned ahead of time, because it was not a planned closure. As happens in London, the delivery simply failed to make it to us on Friday. (Conversely, I got feedback from another couple who took a weekend ticket who said they had enjoyed the action being condensed in to the dungeon so much on Friday night.. )
