	Our first time of visiting this club and even though it was one of their quieter couples/single fems nights we had an amazing time. Everyone was so very welcoming, chatty and friendly. The club itself ticks all the boxes. A room for every occasion and fantasy, and is well kept and clean. Well equipped dungeon and rooms for group orgy fun which we had the pleasure of experiencing. The club has strict rules which are designed to fully ensure the safety and comfort of all who go, especially for the ladies. The star of the show is clearly Bruce himself. An absolute character full of fun, and wa a genuine pleasure to meet him. We will be back that’s for sure. L Date: 6 September 2018

	We have attended many clubs in the north of England and this is by far our favourite. The bar staff and owners are friendly genuinely nice people. We were shown about and told all the rules and were made to feel very much at ease. The club itself is small enough to have a nice atmosphere but big enough to have plenty of room for naughty fun with a good mix of public’s and private spaces. I’m sure this will be a regular club for us to visit. Date: 3 September 2018

We have attended many clubs in the north of England and this is by far our favourite.

The bar staff and owners are friendly genuinely nice people. We were shown about and told all the rules and were made to feel very much at ease.

The club itself is small enough to have a nice atmosphere but big enough to have plenty of room for naughty fun with a good mix of public’s and private spaces.

I’m sure this will be a regular club for us to visit.

	We are writing this review because of the horrible experience we endured at Cupids on Wednesday 22nd August. We have visited Cupids, some time ago and had no complaints. We returned as we had planned to meet another couple, there. On this occasion, we were greeted by a pleasant lady who took our money and served our drinks. There were 4 couples walking around so we sat, had a drink and decided to wait for it to fill up. A few regulars sat at the bar and a small man in shorts appeared behind the bar and spoke to them. The lady took some customers on a tour. Suddenly the man shouted at us asking why we were sat there, after 25 minutes? He shouted, why don't we fucking get on with it and pointing at us so everyone turned around. He then shouted the longer you are sat there the more likely I am to come over and..... we did not hear the rest because of the music. We felt really stupid and annoyed. We let it go assuming he was drunk. After a while we went to the bar to get another drink. The man walked over to a couple and basically ignored us. He then came to the bar, ignored us, picked up a whip and started to mess about with another couple who had just entered! We decided to leave so I (Chel) spoke to the lady, who was now behind the bar, quietly and asked for our money back and briefly told her why we felt so uncomfortable staying. She told the little man and he came over shouting so that everyone could hear, that we couldn't take a joke and this was how he welcomed everyone! He did not smell of drink but was acting like he had taken something. For some reason he was playing to the crowd and shouting we weren't welcome if we couldn't take his joke. There was no apology. He was acting like an overgrown bully. He even followed us into the changing room and threw our money at us. He then refused to give us back our drinks until he saw that N wasn't leaving without them. He was eyeballing N repeatedly saying "goodbye, goodbye!" He was so arrogant that he even said sarcastically that he was looking forward to our review. He refused to give N his name. Another customer apologised to us saying he wasn't normally like that! To this little man we would like to say, why did you feel that it was acceptable to behave in that way. Your own website states "If you have just come to watch or for atmosphere that is fine." Where was your customer focus? If this man is part of the management then this review is probably wasted and the club has got what it deserves. If this man is hired help, then I invite the management to review your CCTV and see just how inappropriate and out of control his behaviour was... before saying goodbye to him. 	Last minute visit to cupids on Bank Holiday Sunday, not especially busy but those that were in were playing. Bruce was a great host in blue wig and too too... Good work sir. We had great fun in the dungeon, Jo being very generous on the swing. Great club, great staff. Veri us if we played, or if you enjoyed the swing show... I know we did. Will definitely return. Cupid’s is a fantastic club with great facilities: several play rooms, a pool table, a couples’ only room etc. and with it being BYOB it is good value. In response to the negative review below, we would just like to offer a different perspective. We attended Cupid’s a few weeks ago and admittedly it was quiet on this particular evening, but we didn’t have a “great” night. Don’t get us wrong, it wasn’t bad, but we have had better nights in the club, even on nights we haven’t played. Now on Wednesday just gone, it was Mrs Northern who realised in a moment of epiphany that the one and only “mundane” night we have had in Cupid’s was when Bruce wasn’t there. I hadn’t actually noriced, but she was right. Bruce, in many respects, is what makes the club what it is. He has an endearing personality and has a laugh with everyone to make them feel welcome. We enjoy talking to him and feel safe in the club at all times. To finish our review, we should add that we were upstairs all night and not once did we see or hear anything heated so any discussions or altercations were not loud or lairy. I can only speculate, but Bruce does go around and speak to couples who might be a little tentative to try and break the ice/get them involved but we have never perceived this to be bullying. Oh well, you can’t please everyone!! Anyway, we had a top night on Wednesday and are already looking forward to our next visit. Thank you as always to Bruce and the staff who make Cupid’s what it is.
