I would suggest that a club is probably better than a house party for first timers. In a club you can make all the decisions with what you do whilst in a house party situation, you might find that you are pressured into doing things especially after a couple of drinks. It's much easier to leave a club if that's what you want to do but you might feel uncomfortable in walking out of a house party.

Although it would involve a bit of a journey for you, can I suggest that The Vanilla Alternative on a Saturday night might be a very good starting point. Saturdays are couples only and lots of couples use the venue as a starting point for this lifestyle. It's a wonderful upmarket club with a nice social area to get to know others. Socialising often then continues in the massive hot tub.

Check out the virtual tour by typing 'The Vanilla Alternative' into the Google search box. On the results page, click on 'see inside'. You can move from room to room by clicking on any of the mini pics at the bottom of the page.

Have fun.
