 | We are speechless. Management has treated us like we were some sort of pests, not even trying to get the issue sorted as we wanted peacefully.
We paid for the membership, which we did not get, as the woman "working" there was trying to give us a tour, making weird comments from the start, which made my wife a bit uncomfortable. The woman was clearly not sober, and once we got to the dungeon area, there were people playing, which is absolutely normal, but the way a few men reacted when they saw my wife made her feel really uncomfortable. So all we wanted was to not go through the crowd of these men but still get the tour as normal. The woman started to get really angry and unprofessional, shouting towards us that we were disrespectful because we had to go through them. It felt like we had to do something in the sense of going through the crowd of men that were making my wife scared and unsafe instead of just bypassing that crowd and continuing with our tour. Her words and the tone of her voice, saying, "If we don't go through them, we might as well leave!" made my wife feel unsafe, so we left. A day later, I tried to contact the manager via email but had no response. I found the manager on Facebook, so I messaged her there and wanted to get our money back for the membership, which we did not receive. I tried to explain what had happened and that the woman doing the tour was clearly on some sort of intoxicant, but as soon as she was told about this, she made up stories that we were really drunk as she saw us at the entrance and that she, the "manager," was walking behind us just in case, and that we were the ones shouting, etc. But we were sober as we wanted to start there and see what the night would bring. If we were so drunk at the entrance, we should not have been allowed to even sign up for membership, which gives you an idea that they might let drunk people in, so be careful. Then she made up a story that in the play area where it all happened, there is footage from the CCTV, which also is not true as there should not be any cameras, phones, etc., in the play area for privacy. But anyway, she then sent a final message: "Wife is banned, but Husband can still come," as if I (the Husband), who was messaging her from the start, would even consider going back after that? What has happened to this place? It's a shame as we did want to try as a married couple, just meet people for a chat, etc., but that's all gone. Thank you, Club Shhh, for treating us this way. Very "professional," and it shows that it's not the place for people to feel comfortable, welcome, and, most importantly, safe. We did want to sort the incident in a nice, calm, and civilized way possible, but your attitude towards this matter and to us as visitors just confirmed all the negative things we felt were true, and we are glad that it happened at the beginning of our visit, not throughout, so we did not waste our night completely, just money and our trust in that club as a safe environment.
