 | My honest experience at Club Shhh
I will never set foot in Club Shhh again after experiencing racial abuse from one of the staff members. I was asked to leave without being told what I had done wrong or who I had supposedly offended — all while I was simply enjoying myself and making a lady happy.
I would strongly advise anyone of colour to think twice before visiting this club. This was my first visit, and it left a very bitter impression. I’ve been to other lifestyle clubs like Quest, Pandora, and The Attic — all of which have well-organised staff who treat people with respect and professionalism.
But the slim lady working at Club Shhh showed clear discriminatory behaviour — and I say that with my full chest. Her attitude towards me was abusive, and it made me feel unwelcome and singled out.
Another issue is that they force you to become a member after paying your entrance fee, which is unusual and not how other clubs operate.
That said, the Booty Social event itself was great — I met some genuinely lovely people with good vibes. It’s just a shame that the club’s staff ruined what could have been a fantastic first experience.
