So I followed.

Through the crowd, losing her, finding her again. A silhouette slipping between strangers, a presence just out of reach. Each time I thought she was gone, she appeared again—like she wanted to be lost… but only if I was willing to keep searching.

And she looked back.

Always that same smile—soft, knowing, almost playful. Like a quiet challenge. Like a game of hide and seek where the rules were never spoken, but deeply understood.

Do you have the will… not to lose me?

And I didn’t.

Not this time.

When I finally reached her, the world slowed again. The noise faded into something distant, irrelevant. I stepped closer, gently taking her hands from behind—warm, real, no longer just a fleeting vision.
