I would love to go to the IOM TT but work won't allow it, so until retirement, its ITV4 all the way until Sky get their hands on it.... |

I'd change my job. You must have a strange job that they can tell you what holidays you can't do? Been hard enough missing this years. Go every year  |

I work in education, so im only allowed to take time off during breaks such as half term etc. As the TT is on during May, during term time, I cant have the time off. |

We've got friends in the teaching profession and it was on their bucket list so got special dispensation last year to take extra time off. They loved it but as there job dictates they can't go every year. Soon as we posted our last we thought that would be your profession. Get talking and make it happen |

Well, i got married a few years ago, and they wouldn't give me "special leave" for a honeymoon, and the reason being that we could go to the IOM in July/August.

Its a real shame different places have different policies and something like TT which is historic is out of reach for people who make a difference in society with the dedication of their jobs. Shame an employer can't give a little back now and again for something as special as a honeymoon or more important things than that like TT. Tell them you need pictures for your profile at TT..... Mmm maybe not eh |
