After our being able to visit to Isle of Man for August Bank Holiday due to us having both Vaccines, a requirement to get through Isle of Man Border. Hopefully with them having a great strategy and great vaccine rollout to control this terrible virus they can go ahead with TT2020. Whether or not you will still need vaccine status to go to TT is any ones guess. Lets hope all goes in a positive direction and we can get to the best bikers party and road racing the world has on offer   |

One good thing about 2022 TT is that it is all paid for as its all been brought forward from 2020. Good for the wallet next year. |

We were in Bushy's village last month over the August Bank Holiday. Had a great few days on the rock |

The bushys village for the bank holiday weekend was good but it wasn't the same and when it's there for TT. May have seen you in there as spent a bit of time in there aswell |

Its always worth booking TT. You will be limited what ferries are available so you won't be able to pick n choose. Think February Steam Packet release all the unpaid bookings, again that will be limited for 2022 as most have been carried over since 2020. Get something booked when you can, then you know you have a crossing |

Like I said you not going to be able to pick what ferry is best for you at this time. It could be they are holding all spare places till February. Give steam packet a call on the phone, they'll give you all the info you need |

I think it's more likely that the TT will go ahead next year, obviously it depends on what new variants of Covid appear before then.
I'm getting lot of TT stuff on Facebook, new rules and safety measures brought in for next year. Including, reducing the grid for the races, only 60 starters now allowed I think. Plus all race bikes and travelling marshalls etc will be fitted with GPS sensors. |

Hoping the TT will go ahead but who knows at this stage. The Manx GP is always my preference but looks like certainly isnt goin to be same again  Also for anyone fancying a trip to the island... The Southern 100 is unreal...class racing |

I can recommend Douglas Rugby Club at Quarterbridge for camping , easy to get to, walking distance into town of an evening, was £11pp per night last TT, plenty of showers, clubhouse for breakfast and beers |

We used to stay here many years ago before we stayed with friends. Good bar, food is ok and like poster says not a bad price. However not sure they do this for Manx as it was always just a TT thing for them, contact them and ask the question |

I’ve stayed there twice for the classic/manx. Not quite so busy and food not available all day. Wasnt 24 hour open clubhouse so no 5am showers in the changing rooms or toilets in the warm but the showers and toilets outside in the trailers were fine |

We've heard about it. Our main priority these days are to catch up with friends. Been going to the rock that long, racing is 2nd priority now. We just love the whole place as well as the Island coming alive during race weeks |

That's true enough but alot more this year due to ober 150 marshal's standing down over the sacking of a sector marshal by the clerk of course...so there is alot of work to be done unfortunately.. |

We haven't been going to Manx long, not as long as TT which every year for over 20 years, but what a great time we have had.
We were thinking this year at TT to to Laxey every morning for a cold dip in the sea before breakfast. We just seen the news updates yesterday about pollution in Laxey and Peel so we are rethinking that idea now. |

Beware folks when booking for TT 2023 as the race schedule is changing. There will be racing on what was known as Mad Sunday and Senior will be on the Saturday not Friday. Just been checking this out on the net |

Cant wait to go back to the TT, went 4 years in a row up to 2005 then started racing short circuit myself in 2006 so never got back to the TT.
I turn 50 in 2 years and returning to the TT is how I plan on celebrating it, until then thank feck all races are being streamed live this year |

Fastest lap, let's hope its McGunniss. We always go to pubs in Douglas, a lot of great pubs around town and on the Marina "
I’m a big Mcguiness fan but my money this year is on Pete Hickman ,it’s nice to see the up and coming new comers doing well too .
I think Davey Todd is one to keep an eye out for ..Douglas has such a great atmosphere during TT week & yes the British on Douglas Quay makes for a good night for food & drink !

Yeah fingers crossed and as you say a lot of internal politics. I know a few marshalls that have scooped me up from track over the years and none of them are going.  |

Latest news on the Marshal issue was announced this morning....
The TTMA is on target for a record number of Marshals to complete their Incident Management ahead of this year’s TT.
That's according to government statement issued this morning |

Yes, we are certainly looking forward to this years TT, we are heading out there on 1st-10th June. Only issue is we have lost our home stay, so looks like sleeping in the van ????? |

Well it doesn't look like our idea of a ride out social during TT to the sound went down well so when this thread fills up, just another 2 posts, we'll leave it there. There is another TT 2022 thread not long been started by another couple so we'll leave it to that thread. Most of all people, have a great TT and be safe. Hopefully we'll get to meet up with some of you while we are there |
