North Devon

Longest single ride I did was Thurso (Scotland's northern coast) to Devon.

Took 16 hours including stops for petrol etc, on a Ducati Monster 600.

It was cold, wet, uncomfortable, wet and did I mention how wet it was? Lol

I’m guessing the wettest parts were north of the boarder.

Yep, it pissed it down pretty much solidly from Aviemore to Glasgow, then again all the way through Shap and down to Manchester.

I soon discovered that "waterproof" is a marketing term rather than a reality

Longest run in one go was Silverstone to Aberdeen

8hrs...only stopping for fuel and the loo..cramming food in when I could. Don't recommend that ..backside was killing me

Next was picking up my k1200s from Nottingham and riding it back to Aberdeen.. took a more sedate approach this time sms was all the better for it

York

Inverness to London, 600 miles on a ZZR1100, weather was either very wet or very very wet.

Took 12 hours including petrol and ciggy breaks, when I used to smoke!

Great way to square off tyres but done at a time when no speed cameras etc on A9 so some bits were good fun.

Don’t know why that’s been deleted but I said that my first “long” run was midlands to the south coast and back. Not as long as some already mentioned but it’s a start. Glad it was on a cruiser.

West Wales

Rode back from south of Zurich in one hit once, was about 780 miles to home. I slept pretty much the entire next day so a bit of a waste really.

Longest recently was North Essex to Bovington, five hours looking at tanks then into Poole for bike night/Fish & Chips & then back to North Essex. 0530 start, back home around 2200.
