There's a guy on here organisers a bike meet once a month at Barnard Castle on a Thursday night bu I think the y are finished this year now with the nights drawing in. Check out his forum post https://www.fabswingers.com/forum/bikers/1238688

I meet a couple at Squires a while ago, just social never lead to a play meet.
