Well done OP on passing your test. Learning begins when your bike arrives and you get out and about. Look at some advanced training as that will teach you more than you would ever believe

I used to be an observer for IAM, I would say get onto it before the bad habits start and bad road positioning kicks in as advanced riding is a complete new way of riding compared to DSA standards. You will be amazed and enjoy every minute. Anything that improves rider safety is a positive and it just might save your life. An IAM observer will improve your riding at your pace

Congratulations and welcome to the club .. I’d suggest you start off with runs up to Callander and the trossachs to build up your skill level .. then start heading further like the welly or Oban you’ll find lots of bikers up those roads who you can chat too .. before long you’ll be doing the nc500 and after that Europe lol
