What tents do you guys use when camping, best value for money not looking to spend 100s of pounds on one either. Campervans dont count haha

Vango. Hate it. I want to invest in something a bit more fit for purpose.

France / Birmingham

Look at Slummit tents. Well built, double layer so robust and go up (and down) very quickly.

The only drawback is that they are bulky when packed but I put mine over the rear seat so still have access to panniers and rear box.

We bought a 4 man tent from Lidl last year. Took it with us down to Spain on the bike, turned out to be a superb tent, some of the rain storms in France and Spain were terrific and no leaks from the £50 tent. Well impressed.

DD hammock, tarp and a bike cover does it for us it takes a bit of getting used to but it keeps you off the ground and comfortable. They can also be put up on the ground easy enough.

Can't remember the model but Coleman 3 man tent with blackout features, useful in the summer on long days of daylight and worked well on top of Scotland when it wasn't getting dark until like 11.30
