We watched the 1st Episode of the Hairy Bikers go West, their new series, last night. Not a dry eye in the house. Dave spoke so positively about getting back in the saddle. Makes it even more of a shock listening to what he was saying back in June

Just one of the nicest men ever, like his mate Si. Cannot imagine these two ever being nasty to anyone.

He was also very highly educated. Had a masters degree and won Mastermind, his chosen specialist subject being the Pre-Raphaelites. Who knew?

Does anyone know yet if there will be a biker funeral?

I know the weather is not ideal but it would be very fitting if the biker community showed their love?

This really is a sad one. Im not usually fussed with celebrity news at all, but I was absolutely gutted to hear this. The man was a gent, and he seemed like a genuinely lovely guy, such a bright charachter. Full of enthusiasm and positive vibes. You could never be in a bad mood watching/listening to his positive energy. Plus my wee mum loved watching their show and enjoyed their personalities and banter. I really feel for Si, he must be devastated.

Rest in peace Dave

So tragic, Si King must be distraught, not forgetting he has been through the mill himself in recent times.

Such a loss to motorcycling, presenting, travelling and cooking. I liked the common theme that no matter where they were on the planet, they championed grass roots food and local wholsome food.
