Where do the years go?

It's that time again to start a thread for TT 2025 now Manx GP is over.

Post your TT 2025 stuff here folks.

Let's hope it's better weather for TT 2025.

Our ferry is already booked just the balance to pay come February.

The resale doesn't happen till 1st Monday (8.30am) march. Everyone has to pay balance by end of February, those not paid for go to resale

It's not cheap, like everything that is popular in this world. You have to pay a lot to go to the best road racing in the world. We pay all that for the ferry and hardly see any racing. We wouldn't want to be anywhere else during TT though, its one hell of an atmosphere

Where do you get £1300 from, £480 return for us 2 and a bike and I think £150 return for a single foot passenger. To be honest I think going 2 weeks inclusive to turkey on a Hairyplane like sheep would be torture. TT with thousands of bikes thundering past every day is our heaven

Plus 1st Monday in March @ 8.30am all the bookings that weren't paid by end of February go back on sale, always a good time to book as at the moment you only get the odd thing crop up as folk cancel so it always hit and miss at the moment. Something on sale now can be gone in 5 mins. We always book when the following year's sailings go on sale in May before we've even been to this year's. Never failed to get booked, takes some time refreshing page though. Last year they did things a bit different and put people in a queue which worked well

Quids inn is the cheapest bar on the island so check that out. Jaks is good for food and drinks and has some great bands on throughout the week. Samuel webbs is always packed and a good craic. 1886 if you fancy a decent club vibe… plus it’s the go to place for the after party after the senior race… I was doing shots with the burchells, Hicky and Dunlop in there a couple of years ago

"I'm going this year, 2022 I went as a present for my 40th, missed out 2023 and 2024, but going from 31st May to 13th June I think or maybe 10th I can't remember what I booked. Very excited as taking the motorbike this year "

It's going to be great. We are taking the sun with us this year. We arrive 29th May☀️

Haha, I hope so.

A lady friend is meant to be joining me for part of the race week, but she's had a bereavement and goes to Australia for three weeks in a few days time, I doubt she'll have the funds to come now.

Hopefully the singles scene won't be too daunting.

Getting folk to meet in Isle of Man is nyon impossible. All they ever say is it's a small island. They couldn't possibly meet or everyone who lives there will know they are swingers. We've been in this scene since 2016, we look for meets every year we go over, we've managed to meet 5 people from there in all these years. Not a bad ratio for 9 years minus 2 for covid

we've been swinging since 2016, go to TT every year. We have managed less than a handful of meets on the rock, been messed about over there even more. It's very hard work and this should be fun not hard work

Beware new blanket 20mph speed limits being imposed on most residential roads by the government here. Arterial roads should stay at 30 but there will be exceptions like Onchan centre. We're skint so need to fine as many visiting bikers as possible to fill the gov coffers!

Asphalt machine has broken down so plans to fix the Mountain Road's many defects have been deferred until autumn & minor patching will be done instead. But it's all good!!!

I heard tarmac will be happening next week instead of this week once the machine is fixed. 20mph in towns and estate roads should all be adhered to as there are plenty of places to twist that throttle, so if you are getting fined for speeding you can't blame Isle of Man Government. Personally I think 20mph should be mandatory on all residential roads not just there but here as well

I would contact the Steam Packet. The new Liverpool Terminal isn't right outside the Liver building but on a back road a little up the river although not that far from the old one

Swinging is very much underground on the rock. Isle of Man government certainly wouldn't allow clubs but then again swingers on the Isle of Man are so worried about people knowing no one would attend
