Just passed my 'big bike' test. Thinking about getting a honda vfr because of the reliability (second hand, dont have much of a budget). Want to do some traveling on the bike hence wanting something a bit more touring but also want to do some nice b road blasting so dont want an adventure bike. Any thoughts?

Also....are there any swinging biker clubs/meets?

A little out of my budget. Can get a vfr800fi 99 for 1400 with only 28k miles which looks really clean.

I have just purchased an 11 plate VFR1200 for £1200. Great alternative to my Superbikes. Easy to ride I will say and plenty of torque

Tiger 800. Ride 350 miles in a day without feeling it!

Congratulations..

And well done on actually taking your test, sadly there's alot out there riding without licence or helmets these days.

Enjoy the bike, go easy and steady, build your knowledge and confidence..time and miles under the belt is what matters.stay safe

Nice one, well done on passing.

Got a Ducati 1100 scrambler, want to do some long distance stuff. Not sure it's the right bike for that but was lucky to have a few bikes to test. It just felt right to ride for me, planted and safe.

Will be looking for a more touring bike, tried a BMW black rain, that felt good too.

Been enjoying the bike. Feel a little cramped on it with my long legs so bought a seat pad thing to see if thatll help. Want to get some luggage racks for it so i can do some trips!x
