Just passed my 'big bike' test. Thinking about getting a honda vfr because of the reliability (second hand, dont have much of a budget). Want to do some traveling on the bike hence wanting something a bit more touring but also want to do some nice b road blasting so dont want an adventure bike. Any thoughts?
Also....are there any swinging biker clubs/meets? |

And well done on actually taking your test, sadly there's alot out there riding without licence or helmets these days.

Nice one, well done on passing.
Got a Ducati 1100 scrambler, want to do some long distance stuff. Not sure it's the right bike for that but was lucky to have a few bikes to test. It just felt right to ride for me, planted and safe.
Will be looking for a more touring bike, tried a BMW black rain, that felt good too. |

Just got rid of a 99 VFR800Fi, it was a nice bike but didn't like the London 20 mph speed limits.
They are bomb proof, they just eat up the miles, can be a bit pricey on servicing though.
Mine overheated a lot, but that was due to doing hours in 20 mph speed limits. |
