will be out on bikes all winter provided snow etc is minimal. had a costly experience of leaving bikes up for 3mths over winter. So for me to ride them when I can to keep them free'd up

I’ll try and get out when I can, don’t mind the cold, but heavy rain, snow and ice I’ll avoid.

I used to commute in all weathers but not now. Fair weather rider now but do miss riding during the winter. All my bikes are hibernating now

We normally keep the BMW on the road all year round, get withdrawal symptoms otherwise 😕

I ride all year round, better for the bike as it has to live outside. and I get the bike therapy on a daily basis.

So there’s lots of advice about winter storage. Personally I clean the bike before putting away. Fuel to the top, stops corrosion. Optimate charger to save the battery. Had service before being put away, clean oil for storage otherwise the wee metal bits collect and can damage the engine when you do start up. Also don’t start it up as it causing moisture to gather internally. Spend my time planning next years trips, watching biker stuff on YouTube with a glass. Be safe you lovely bunch.

All good advice above,I also put mine up on stands and take the batteries out and in the house.I only charge them 24 hrs once a month.

Not one bike gets “tucked up for winter” here.

Some of the best riding is through winter!
