Do you mean the older 1200 twin or the newer V4? An acquaintance had the V4 & has recently traded it for a new V2 Multistrada as he found it just too big and heavy, he mentioned the V2 has got enough grunt as it's still about 120hp.

its a heavy bike...i was surprised at its weight...
dont trust servicing...i went over mine after buying it
needed belts ..plugs fuel filter..fuel sender unit...new chain n sprockets..and fresh fluids all round ...
also gear position indicator and fuel sendet unit went bad...and skyhook suspension electrical gremlins

On to our second mutley after a fair number of Dukes…
They are wonderful and have soul….well, the twins with trellis frames and desmo etc do….the V4s are fantastically quick and extremely capable as well…just maybe not as much character… |
