Going through a mid-life crisis so recently purchased a Vespa. When Ivstarted the process of doing my bike test, it was my first time on 2 wheels in 35 years and I love it.
Anyone on here share my love of scooters (Vespa or Lambretta)?
Depending on region might be fun to meet up? |

"Was thinking of a cheap Chinese vespa rip off"
I have a friend at work that has a Chinese scooter type thing.. no idea what it is but it's about 4 months old and it's rattling to bits already.
Maybe a better bet for you is the Indian lml they look good and I'm told are built well. |

I have always driven scooters, since 1997.my first Vespa was a 150 4T...it was replaced very soon cause it was too light for the engine, with small tyre, i drive now a burgman 650... Scooters are fun indeed. |

"Any of you scooterists into the northern soul scene and Allnighters or are you mainly mods ?
For us it's more ska based music we also love the softer punk like SLF and the ruts, undertones. "
Fair play to you, quite varied tastes then |

Would love a scooter but don’t have the money or courage at the moment!
Enjoy the northern soul, ska, mod scene just now, plenty nights out organised regularly - off to a scooter clubs annual do this Saturday!
It is a scene that embraces everyone and people are always happy to meet new people - so welcoming!

So very true about the scooter scene and as for scootering, it's not the cheapest hobby/way of life but possibly the most fun. X |

I was on the scene in the 80's and 90's.
2 GP 200's one with a DJ 225 kit and custom murals and Crome. Various 150 supers, PX's 125's and 200's and a T5.
First rally Skegness October 84 but can't remember the last one.
I swapped to bikes in the mid 90's but had one of the last P200's in Australia 4 years ago for old times sake lol.
Anyone who thinks they might know me come say hi? |
