I’ve been helping a friend set up a potential income generator on his Farm in Wales (once Covid allows it)
His idea is to set up a limited amount of Infrastructure (WC, fire pit) in a remote field, and then offer it out to groups of Wild Campers for the night - it’s be about a 20 minute walk away from the nearest houses, and as a part of the deal all your own camping kit would be delivered by 4x4, while the campers enjoy the leisurely walk in.
From then onwards, the field is your very own remote corner of wales for whatever you want to do with it!!
My immediate thought was that there could be a lot of interest here, so thought I’d put out the “feelers” and see if there would be some people or groups who’d be keen? If it looks potentially successful, I’ll post details to people to make bookings? |

In Flintshire, North East Wales
The facilities will be minimal, to keep it as remote and as close to wild camping as possible but with a tiny bit of comfort; so just the WC and the fire pit and logs to sit on; no electricity, no phone signal...a nice break from the normal world with the delivery of your own camp gear/bags/fire wood making up an added bit of service so you don’t have to carry it in! |
