We are heading to Devon In our Motorhome and have seen hundreds of Motorhome and Caravans. Is there a sign to look out for if occupants are swingers ? |

We were informed a Chameleon sign is the one to look out for. Not sure if this is correct xxx |

Never heard of the rubber duck one, been on the scene for over 20yrs. There's been loads of different symbols over the years. Pampas grass, pineapple, upside down skull & Cross bones flag, chameleon, fab lolly picture to name a few  |

There was a post regarding this subject right at the beginning of the camping forum. It was suggested that everyone voted on a sticker that was available on a website
As usual nothing came of it.

G 1950 surely a nice smile and something to start a conversation is the best way? A sign is a bit open to all comers, the nice thing about swinging is the totally respectable couple on the appearance front, who turn out to be very very sexy ! At least in my experience...?? |

All these maybe signs, is this a one is that a one. Brain wave, put a sign in the caravan/motorhome window saying 'We are Swingers so give us a knock' watch the queue develop outside your unit. Well everyone is saying nothing else is working so maybe the obvious will be best foot forward  |

We bought two chameleons one in back kitchen window and one for the front windscreen, just before lockdown . We were at a caravan site in our motorhome last week out side Buxton. A couple about our age walked past and were looking at the windscreen we just asked if they were ok , they just came right out and said do you know it’s a swingers sign . We had a good chat and had a brew with them in their caravan. This was early on and they were leaving the site right away . We are going to keep in touch and meet up in the lakes early August for the weekend . We are going out on the Saturday night to the local pub and the girls are going out in “dare to wear “ . Can’t wait |

What would be even better is different coloured chameleons. One colour could mean you’re interested in couples only, another for single males, another for anything goes etc. Would hopefully avoid unwanted attention. |

At the end of the day. You do not need anything on display to indicate that you are swingers.
If you are parked up next to anybody. Keep in mind that they don't know you from Adam.
If the mood takes you. The only thing that a couple has to do is, !!! for the woman to be outgoing and uninhibited. with a little bit of flashing.
A woman can get away with discreetly flashing her body to someone. But the male, or a single man can't.
So campers. be a bit more adventurous and outgoing. |

For diff reasons. Mine I got from a festival, his was to identify his truck in a line up!
Now our ducks are united on my van dashboard.... no knocks on our door yet!

I accidentally discovered the chameleon sign on a weekend away in my van. I got chatting to the couple in the next van and asked about it as I liked the design. They confessed what it was for. Needless to say the caravan was rocking and I still have a pic lol |

We have got a small 'Fab' sticker in the bottom corner of the front window get one made up on ebay for a cpl of quid, worked for us a few times, if friends or family ask we just tell them it was on when we bought the caravan lol |

Not one person commented on our above post. We would say due to the lack of response that these signs wouldn't work. No stories at all about how they worked and if it was a bad thing or a good thing. Personally we wouldn't put a sign up, maybe use the who's near feature on fab |

Maybe wrong but think the who near feature works on GPS not the Towers for mobile signals. We have noticed if quarter of a mile, someone could be sitting in the same pub, as they move further a field it changes to half a mile.

Having read this thread intently I actually feel none the wiser but my heart warmed at the united rubber duck story.
My friend has asked me to find out what these stickers are for his VW camper so I’m gonna go with the chameleon and the red swing stickers!
