hull

There's a brilliant place just above Scarborough called hayburn wyke, its got a decent field for camping for tents or camper vans, and a brilliant pub that does fantastic food.

The OP read my mind ... we have just bought our first caravan and we are looking for sites in Yorkshire / Derbyshire with EH and a good pub on site or within easy walking distance.

Not necessarily swinging or naturist in nature ... just a nice place to stay while learning the ropes ....

Any recommendations gratefully received.

Hayburn wyke would be no good then, no electric, and the road down isn't suitable for caravans due to the gradient and the sharp hairpin bend halfway down...
