Has anyone completed the NC500. We are looking to complete it once the lockdown is lifted.

.

It's brilliant. Slightly feels like wacky races with oversized motorhomes and sports cars tearing around single track lanes.

Sango sands in Durness and the big campsite in Ullapool were the best places to stay.

Can't wait to get back up there.

I have wanted to do this road trip for a few years now. Just got to plan it and get it done. Can't make my mind up what time of year to do it.

As soon as the restrictions lift I will be doing it - winter months will be the quietest and some amazing skies to see.

I’m just restoring a camper. This will be my first big trip next summer I hope. Definitely be taking the kayak, as some epic sights. Hopefully get out to sea with some dolphins.

We did it in 2018 and it’s great as long as you haven’t got a Concorde or similar bus.

I did it a few weeks ago as part of a big Scotland roadtrip, hardly any motor homes around to cause chaos so well worth doing out of season.

I live on NC500 route and a lot of shops and restaurants are shut at this time of year so you have to be well stocked up for your trip. Saying that the scenery is fantastic at this time of year
