Christmas Camping

As I work Christmas Day and Boxing Day I’ve always gone camping after the two big days up to and including new year. My usual haunt is now closed. Can anyone recommend a quiet remote site within 150 miles of the Wirral that may be open for a miserable middle aged bloke in a tent ? Ho ho ho.

Been camping on and off a very long time. Secret is quality Army kit, eating well including lots of carbs and choosing a good site. I used to wild camp for many years but as I’m getting older I like the luxuries of showers and a proper loo. As for stoves I’ve always used petrol stoves, Coleman 533 or ex army stuff.
