Teamwork has enabled our attendance success, but some people get there every year somehow!?!
Oh there are so many places - the Avalon Inn is the most pub-like looking bar, and then there is the Cider bus, which is all outdoors. Be prepared to do a heck of a lot of walking, it's like a Disney park queue line getting around the site, but on steroids lol |

I'll be there from the 12th with Scarlett arriving for the party after the work is done. There's often some action at the big Glastonbury sign on the hill in the Park, people seem to love shagging up there!
I've been lucky enough to go countless times.
Take boots for sure plus a sun and a warm hat. It gets damp and cool at night in that valley even after a hot day. |

"Paid up and ready to go. Can’t believe that people forget, but told it happens.
Looking forward to hopefully meeting you all there!

And can you imagine how ‘gutted’ they must feel when they find out there is no way round that? Yikes.
Yes absolutely, will take some planning mind!! X |

There is an app called What3words. It can locate someone within a 3m square area.
An example: West Holts would be- duos.cakes.irony
In front of the main stage could be: solving.waffle.hides
If you get what3words and type in the words above, then you can see where locates to. |

Oh we see. On the basis that coverage can be somewhat of a struggle once the festival is fully underway, we wonder how well that would work. Aiming to be somewhere by a certain time can also be a challenge due to whatever plans everyone has in terms of sights and performances. We’re thinking any meets would have to be before the Friday, as after that it’s full on! X |

"Lost horizons looks interesting. Will take my time checking as much as I can out." you can get a day pass I suggest going in the afternoon as the morning can get very busy and you miss the vibe. It isn't a swinging thing though. Although I've be told it gets raunchy after dark. I'm busy doing other things then.

"Not long to go now folks. Should find out my work shifts soon - hoping it'll be for the after festival clear up so that I have the full festival time to enjoy...."
Wishing you a good result on the shift pattern then. Lots of planning and prep to do before then x |

"Happy to meet anytime. As this is my first Glastonbury, I am just going to enjoy to whole experience and take in as much as I can.
You make a good point about the phone signal."
Absolutely, we always go with a good idea of what we'd like to see and do, although there is never enough time because there is so much. We recommend Stonebridge on the Thursday for a good d*unken (optional of course) 90s/noughties anthems singalong. We will be in there from Wednesday morning though.

I don’t think I will be there till Wednesday afternoon or Thursday morning. Hopefully it will be Wednesday afternoon, but very busy at work.
I think the whole of Glastonbury for me is, go with the flow. Stop planning and let things happen. X |

"It is perfect for us, not too many need-to-sees, plenty of good-to-sees, so enough time to wander and see-what-there-is-to-see time! "
Yes, totally agree - from the familiar 'JAMES' to the mystical 'Heilung'. Looking forward to the full line-up release and discovering some new experiences too x |

"Where is Avalon fields is that a new area? Tried to DM you but unable for some reason." Avalon is not new, been there since I've been going. Along the railway track towards the south east corner. So at least since 1999, damn I feel old!

So what size is yours?
We'll be glamping in Willow Meadows, but we're also going to have a 3-person tent on site (with a porch no less lol) so as to fully sample the experience. We did the same in '22.

Forums are funny from an observational perspective.
Of the 21 profiles that have responded to this forum question, only 5 profiles managed to answer, the rest have answered their own version of the question lol. Although, not sure if the originator is coming back!?! X |

Glamping as well for my first Glastonbury. I booked this because I may not arrive on Wednesday.
I heard that I would be struggling if I was late on Thursday.
Have hot showers and a bar at the camp site so ok with me. |

So, Upthemanor and Plaits are up for some kind of meet, that’s great. What thoughts have you had about the practicalities?
We have thought that maybe it needs to be before the festival properly kicks off, as after that we’re all going to be all over the place with whatever performances we each have preferences for. That isn’t to say that something couldn’t be co-ordinated via (delayed lol) messaging?! x |

I would love to meet up for cold drink and chat.
We could pick an area and then use What3words for the exact location.
It possible I could be before hand, it’s really work depending as it’s so busy.
We can message each other on Fab or on another messaging app. |

We had a good laugh on the Thursday and Sunday night at Avalon Inn last year. Always a good vibe. Got tickets in the resale thankfully. |

So, we're thinking Wednesday evening then, or Thurs lunchtime, or evening? Think it would be best to pick a bar, like the Avalon Inn x |
