Lived there for some years, left about 12-13 years ago, it was a beautiful place, and often regret moving south….. enjoy your trip x

If you are camping make sure you have a very strong tent, winds can be strong.

Take a trip up to the northern islands Yell and Unst.

Stunning coastline and some fantastic beaches just not very warm.

I’m going in my camper van, love Unst and Yell, gonna do some islands I’ve not been to as yet. Last trip I ended up on the Skerries

Beautiful place lined there in the 1990s on Bressay great wee place and wonderful people. Moved back again 2014 for a couple of years this time in Whalsay. Must like boats ferries to work in both places. Enjoy your trip. Just watch for the Sept storms though
