Looking for recommendations for wild camping in Ireland and have done the Wicklow Way - so looking more to the west coast and north of Ireland. Are there any Ireland fabbers who can recommend places - Achilles may be an option but personal recommendations would be nice !!

Do you mean in a tent? In winter?

I have camped around Skibbereen and the beaches of Achill are perfect but you know about them.

There is a beautiful area ideal for camping near Clochan Pier on Corraun. Good luck.

Not Portrush we stayed in an almost empty car park and got a ticket. That said the Beach at Down hill is good and free with toilets at entence and a coffee shop across the road.

Yes camping and happy to trek a few hours on foot. Thinking beach, mountain and local Airbnb to leave the car for a day or two then return for a welcome shower!

I'm hiking and wild camping the wicklow way this week. I'd recommend the Kerry if you haven't hiked there yet. Some gorgeous spots to wildcamp, the black valley was a particular highlight
