So I've just spent an arm and a leg on new camping gear... call it a midlife crisis Looking for recommendations on where to go for my first little trip? Would rather start on campsites with 'facilities', as opposed to wild camping (made a career out of that) lol |

Can't recommend joining the Camping and caravan club enough. You always know what to expect, facilities, usually excellent and spotless - you really can eat your dinner in them!
Possibly a little more expensive than some other sites, but you do get what you pay for |

Head for the West Coast of Wales if you haven't been there. Pembrokeshire has a lot to offer. Plenty of smaller campsites. You can walk the coastal path and catch the bus back later in the afternoon. St David's is a good start for this. |

Telford naturist is a lovely site with swimming pool, clubhouse with cheap drinks. Nice showers, toilets and kitchen facilities. It's run by members and everyone is really friendly and welcoming (presuming you don't mind being naked that is!)
Not a swingers place, just naturist. Although we know lots of swingers that use it, just not open about it. |
