If anyone is looking for a cheap and cheerful campsite in the Peak District,i can highly recommend Hulme End Campsite, Buxton. Stumbled across it this week, and its just £8 per person per night. No ehu, and basic toilets. Nice pub 3 minute walk from the site. The field is immaculate. No booking required, although if we've had a lot of rain, it's advisable to ring ahead as he sometimes closes, saves vans getting stuck. Motorhomes, campers and tents welcome. Quiet in the week, ideal for a bit of a gathering 😉 , it's unmanned, the farmer just calls round for the cash in the evening.
