Cam drop out?

Jump to: Newest in thread

Hi,

So with the current situation as it is we decided to have a go at cam and actually quite enjoyed putting on a show. We are having issues with the cam dropping out all the time though.

We set flash and cam to allow in chrome for the site etc, and just as we got into the flow the watchers were telling us we disappeared..

We are new to cam, so not entirely sure what to do.

Is there a better browser than chrome?

Or is it something else we need to do?

We are using the built in cam on the laptop,

Any help would be much appreciated

It seems to happen to me after being on cam for a while, almost like a timing out. I use Firefox & the built in laptop cam but still suffer occasional drop outs. Leave chat & re-enter usually cures quickly, but sometimes hiding cam & unhiding is enough. I'm not techy enough to understand the cause, just learned the cure!

Bugs in the site, Fab should address the issue not just on the cam side, but also the "ghost members in chat rooms" members are shown in chat rooms they left ages ago. plus the issue of chat messages not showing.

Fab are quick enough to take your money, an they make a lot from members but don't fix the issues. And its pointless reporting issues, doubt they even look at the messages anyway.

Ghost members is down to users not closing the page down (pressing the x) before jumping rooms, They then appear in multiple rooms
