Are they frowned upon? I get the feeling they might be. Sometimes I just message someone directly to tell them they have a great profile, nothing more than that. |

they arent always unwelcome but it is worth bearing in mind that the bloody pop up box gets annoying especially if you were in the middle of typing a message into the room. If it could have been said in the room then its worth saying it there instead |
