PMs in chat

If I enable PMs in chat I soon can’t even see the chat as the message windows sit over the chat feed. Is there a way around this?

It's bad enough when I enable PM"s in chat. I can't keep up after a little while.

For you forget it, it will be like a blitzkrieg, you must get bombarded with messages within seconds xxx
