Is there a way to search to see whether someone who is online is in the cams rooms? Is.

Not to my knowledge. You can see if they're online or not in their profile, or a message you've sent, but not if they're specifically in the cam room.

A chat bubble will show on a users profile when they are in chat.

It won't however give you any indication of what chat room they may be in though.
