Hi, my cam now doesnt work in the chat room. It used to work on chrome and while in incognito mode. Flash player is loaded and is switched on. I dont have any option that says 'enable flas player' in the listings given to get it working. my cam is a HP HD2300 A5F64AA#ABB.
Also I cant cam or even watch cams on fabguys anymore! what do I do to get things back? I am not enjoying this along with others it would seem? Thanks

IE is Internet Explorer.
It now looks like Internet Explorer is the only browser that works, since updates to Chrome. Firefox kinda works, but Flash is so slow it's unusable.
To be clear on this: Flash is insecure. It is dead technology. Every decent website started switching to HTML about five years ago. In previous threads, the admin said that the 'hack' to Chrome was only an interim solution. But much like the 'mobile chat in beta' for five years as well, the admins on this site are not keeping up to date.
You might think this is fine... but along with it being a PITA, if Fab are not keeping the site up to date, there's a good chance it's not secure either.
I use a private email address *only* for fab, and so if my details got leaked I wouldn't be bothered. But do any of the rest of you use your main email for this site? The same email you use for shopping, banking etc?
Running a website is hard. I know. It means investing in keeping secure and up to date. But Fab takes in a lot of money, it needs to start reinvesting back into it's site. Or when cams stop working in all browsers, we'll all finally switch to other sites?
Sorry about sounding pissed off, because I am. Admin doesn't seem to take this seriously, and that worries me. You all need to take this seriously too. Trust me. I know what I'm talking about here. |

I was having no ends of problem but I was told about this fix and now everything is working perfectly !!!
On my PC I inserted an old Jack plug into the Blue audio socket and now everything works.
You can put in any old Jack Plug and it doesn't have to be connected to anything, but it allows the computer to think that the cam audio is now connected and that allows your cam to work in the chatrooms.
I hope this works for others as well  |

For no reason flash won't load my cam on the chat rooms. It was working ok this afternoon then packed up. I followed the instructions only to find there is no HTML disable on chrome any more and as it won't work on firefox or safari on my mac I'm peed off. come on Admin update this to something other than flash.  |

I've been trying to get cam working for weeks now including attempts to upgrade flash but still won't work. Feel there's something defective about this site and so have given up!  |
