Flash Replacement

What are the plans to replace flash to allow us to broadcast and indeed watch cams?

Since the latest Windows 10 update, I am either able to chat with Flash disabled or do nothing as Firefox just freeezes if I click to activate the flash plugin.

It's not just this site, there are flash problems on other sites I visit, I know this is due to Flash not being supported anymore, but members will drift away if they are unable to watch and broadcast cams.

No it's not just you. My mac runs Chrome AND Safari and i can't use my cam in chat on either. Thats with Flash up to date on my machine too.

The browsers are not supporting it anymore.

As far as I can tell there is no workaround for this anymore on Chrome or Safari, as both are trying to get users to pressure web site owners, like the owners of Fab, to use a more secure system of webcams over HTTPs.

I suspect that windows users don't suffer the same problems on their browsers yet, because windows has always been a market leader in insecure systems.

Flash is coming an end in 2020 and about time to, I hate it!

Flash works fine in all sites on Chrome, Firefox and IE for me. You're right though it has certainly been a bugger to configure on occasion.
