Cam not working on Chromebook

Hi,

I have recently purchased a chromebook with the intention of using chat again. However it will not work. I've allowed all flash options in the settings, have the latest version installed, i'm using chrome, but when I click to start my cam i'm greeted with a white screen where I would have previously seen my cam.

Can anyone advise if they've been able to get it working on an acer chromebook and what I might be doing wrong?

Thanks

K

Try this, click on the lock logo near top left hand side and then click allow flash, then go to right hand side next to bookmark tab and click on the plug in logo, then you should see reload in middle up top click on this then just click on start cam then click allow camera then click close, hope it works for you.

Try clicking on the "Run flash this time" and then click the reload.
