Been wondering exactly what the first night will be like on reopening?
Are you likely to go to your local club or try a new one that's caught your eye in lockdown?
And surely there will be nerves after such a long time away..... How will you deal with that?? |

First we have to find one close to us. Our favourite, Asylum in Rotherham, has gone for good  . Lechambre in Sheffield has also gone but might be back. Need to try quest and attic but both a quite a distance away so if Rhi wants a drink it would cost a fortune in a taxi. I don't drive so that limits things a bit. Still can't wait to get back to them tho |

Hopefully the first night will see lots of laughter and chatting as people get used to having a social life again
Personally I don’t think there will be as much play as people think because everyone will still be cautious and still have their guards up. I can’t see people playing fully for a few months after when everyone is more confident that everything is completely safe.
But I’ll be returning when they open to have some social fun |

All ill say is your profile says your only 18 and I believe you need to be 23 to go to Clubf. They on occasion can make an allowance when one half of an established couple are under 23 and they have been vouched for but I don't believe that applies exception applies to single males.
By all means check with Sue or Simon on their website. You can call or text them on the mobile number or message Sue on Fab.

What the first night is like may depend on how clubs are allowed open. I think the first “normal” night will be very busy.
We’ll be hoping to start visiting some of the clubs on our wish list. |

Having seen chams on popular party nights, when finding an empty room to play in an almost impossibility, I think I’ll wait for things to calm down a bit.
Busy is fun but frustrating when you are running around in a group who want to play and can’t find somewhere. |

Good god I think while wishing is good harsh reality is different lets assume everyone gets 1st injection the wait for the 2 currently 3 month.
Then on top of that will need at least 1 more problably 2.
I say this because I know someone involved at high level because currently the rumoured protection with vaccine is 3 months. The reality is average of 6 week.
Then there are the antibody tests the vaccinations are based on a 3 year rollout.
Next the social distancing will be in force for long long time.
Masks will be the same because covid is not going away and god forbid further new variants arise could be big setbacks. Anyone thinking different are fooling themselves.
So how folk can think there will be a return to what was the old normal.
As for anyone not being vaccinated then zero tolerance should be enforced because just 1 person in club environment is rife for mass infection spread.
Finally as well as government rules councils determine any conditions to a licence.
I enjoyed clubs but not putting my health at risk. |

Well I hope that the clubs will reopen at some point this year. Maybe it will be back end, but be great to see the team and the clubs survival.
Ah people can be negative, it’s an easy option. Bit like spitting out the verbal venom of how poor the government has responded, how rubbish this and that is! it’s easy to be negative... some know nothing else! Being positive? Cup half full type! That’s me... the optimist. Sure it may not happen. Certainly things could get worse! but they could also get better!

I’ve not been to a club before, have wanted to for a long time, so will be bounding in with enthusiasm and the want to be totally voyeuristic for my first time. Or whatever I feel the urge for when there.

Anything but deluded I’m a highly intelligent realist who’s more abreast of the current situation due to my job and have positivity towards my club owner friends who are trying to ride this out and am completely and utterly fed up of you’re negative comments on here as for growing up I did that many years ago which I why I can survive in an adult lifestyle and see the best in most things rather than just spouting the same pathetic negative comments!!"
