We asked for our 2020 tickets to be rolled over to this year for Aurora festival, but have just had an email telling us we've been refunded as event has been cancelled.
Anybody else had the same ? |

I remember reading the annoucment regarding the cancelation last year and the option to carry your tickets over. Then there was the usual as many event organisers of festivals concerts exhibitions and the like " its going to be bigger and better in 21" i wondered at the time where did people think the virus was going to disappear to. |

Wuhan aren’t suffering mass exposure as they wear a mask / self isolate... or get shot... they managed to get rid of it pretty quickly without protest marches etc... |

There was a post above by the organisers explaining the situation in more detail, but it was removed.
Best to tell you all now, so you can spend the money on an alternative and book in advance  x |

We were devastated to be told it was cancelled, but we know the hosts will feel just as bad as we all know the amount of effort they put into making this event a success.
We will be the first to book next year and we hope all involved know we fully understand why it was cancelled and we will support any further ventures.

The killer for us is that this year was almost certainly the only year we were going to be able to do it, what with our future plans. Understand that it couldn't be helped but a real heartbreaker for us. |

Just got our refund too. Credit to the organisers, I was worried they’d go bump but refunded us no hassle; here’s hoping for 2022 and that we get first dibs on early bird tickets again |

Not ONE person who booked will lose a penny .... except us , it’s vile comments like this that show the worst side of some , so sad |

A few weeks ago they did update their status saying something about this August Bank Holiday but haven't heard anything else . |
