Might sound daft,

My wife and I are going to out first club night in a couple of weeks and were wondering, when you get to the part where you 'dress down' what do you wear on your feet? Surely people don't hang around a bar and dance floor in bare feet do they?

Apologies if this seems very naive.

It depends what type of club it is. If you are spending time in a hot tub, then many just have bare feet afterwards or some wear sandals. At my local club I prefer to keep my heels on. If you feel you want to know what the majority do, phone the club and chat to the owner.

It will be Rosie's first time at a club when we go on 29th april and what is putting her off a bit is finding suitable heels to wear all evening as she is not good with heels on out of bed lol we think we have found a sexy compromise but planning to pack a bag

Another fear - the gents in bare feet. It's enough to put you off going!

Depends on the club - not all require you to dress down. If I'm dressing down to lingerie I keep my heels/boots on. If we've been in the hot tub and just have a towel then I have some sparkly wedge flip flops.

Mr now always wears sliders when he dresses down. He cut his foot at one club after somebody dropped a glass in the hot tub area

Every site varies so it's good to check before going. Usually there is a social area with a bar where most of the time people remain dressed normally. Some clubs want you to get into underwear or a towel and some allow footwear and others disallow them. We wear flip flops or as the Aussies call them, thongs as we both have need to protect our feet.

I never go barefoot in a club!

Apart from potential hazards from glass, bodily fluids and random chips, have you ever trodden on a discarded used condom?

Wife wears heels when dressing down. She always carries flats in her bag too.

If you're dressing down, definitely wear flip flops as others have said.

Enjoy
