We are planning to visit over the next few weeks on a Saturday night. We are planning to stay in the city centre, maybe Malmaison as it looks to have a nice spa. Are we better off with an Uber, private hire or regular cab? What’s the appropriate cost, how long will it take and do private hires take cards? Thanks

Worcester

I looked into this recently for a trip in July, the cheapest and easiest way to get there actually seemed to be the tram! Station is just a few mins walk from the club, last one back is half one on a Saturday night.

Called the Metro line, it links Wolverhampton to Birmingham town centre, (New Street main rail station) and runs trams every 20 minutes all day long. Nearest stop to us is 5 mins walk, and is West Bromwich Central, just behind the college.

As for taxi's, we have a local company we use, so they normally do the 3am runs back to hotels, just ask reception as you leave to order one for you. Make sure you don't jump in a black cab at that time of night though, they will rip you off.

No, but tell them where you're going and they'll stop at a cash point en route.

Hi

We live in the city centre and you can book an Uber taxi to and fro _tasia. No cash needed.

No trams for weeks now.

Hope that helps.
