Bristol Gardens Spa. Brighton.

It's not a swinging club. It's a spa (no sex) downstairs and private rooms/an open area upstairs. We've been and played with single men before but usually go to meet other couples. I've always seen far more men than there is action available (that's the same for everywhere though I guess). |

It’s fully naturist so most are naked in the wet areas but towels are usually worn in the bar/restaurant area. No swimming costumes allowed |

Sadly not a swing venue , and definitely no suggestive ‘playing’ down stairs , the staff are constantly ‘patrolling’ there is a mix of rest room upstairs , one being fully open, one large room no lock , one medium room with lock and three tiny rooms. Totally nude down stairs , no taking towels in steam rooms ( one which is quite large , good pool and hot plunge pools. We enjoy the facilities, shame it closes early . |

Yes - both in the lockable rooms and the large open play ‘bed’. Nothing is ever guaranteed, and in our experience the rest area is either busy or empty depending on the time of day. |

Even getting remotely sensual with a partner in the ‘open’ / spa areas will result in a stern telling off from the spa staff who regularly patrol there, I know because it happened to my ex and I..we were left in no doubt that it was strictly off limits to engage in any sort of fun..lol |

I agree. They’re crystal clear on the rules (first-time visitors have to watch a video, lots of signage so there’s no ambiguity). We’ve always found the staff to be perfectly friendly and reasonable.
Given the clean and spacious rest rooms, there really is no need to play in the wet areas downstairs. |

Personally we don’t think you understand the etiquette on here let alone clubs, fair enough you’re asking but then to DM a female on here is bad form.
If you read their website it’s a naturist spa they’d be very defensive if you called it a swingers club, that doesn’t mean consensual play doesn’t go on in the rest roons, but not as far as the club is aware LOL.
It’s a strange place, the staff are rude & single men follow you around downstairs constantly, but the facilities are good. |

We love BGHS, horses for courses, some people don't.
We've always found the staff to be professional and friendly and the rules to be simple to follow. It's not complicated, keep sexual behaviour to the rest rooms.
I don't really understand the negativity regarding people saying it's a sex club, it isn't but if you consider being called a sex club insulting are you in the right forum?
If single men follow you around, ask them to stop and then ask a member of staff to reinforce that if necessary.
Saturday and Sunday evenings, when it's couples only, are usually the busiest in the rest rooms. |

Not sure what your issue is (unless you got kicked out for breaking the rules?) what do you mean legally they can't do this? Legally they can kick anyone out for breaching the rules and if the breach risks their licence then even more fair enough. BGHS is great and if idiots risk its existence by trying to push their luck then they absolutely should get kicked out. |

You do realise that bghs has been a naturist spa since the mid 1980s and has been owned by the same family since it first opened its doors. There is nothing dodgy about it, they have rules and they implement them |

I have visited a few times over the years but always have my expectaions set to visitng a naturist venue. You have to consider that a good number of other patrons are not there to swing but to just enjoy the facilities clothes free.
Yes there is often activity upstairs but I think if you choose to go there as a single guy in the hope to swing then the odds of success are probably going to be stacked against you vs a swingers club. That said, over my many visits I have been propsitioned a couple of times by gay men and once had some light play with a couple, so your mileage may vary depeding on what you are looking for. |

I think there is an attempt to mansplain the law. In essence, to say, 'people can't do X, Y and Z' will require an examination of any licences BGHS may or may not need to operate.
Whatever, BGHS has been operating for 38 years and counting. One would assume they'd know how to keep themselves clear of any legal repercussions by now. |

We don’t agree with anything you said. The place is mainly a naturist spa with some great facilities and impeccable in terms of cleanliness and also offers (as an extra) room upstairs where you can play! We can praise it enough! Such greatly run venue - we will be back in a summer for sure  |

I've been as a single and as part of a couple a few times and I have to say, it's been nothing but a lovely establishment for me (and the only place my ex felt she could fully relax and be herself). The rules are pretty clear and simple. If you're seeking a sex club there are many others around where you can get it. This is a naturist spa, and that isn't the same as a swinging club. Yes there are rooms upstairs but its not a swinging club. If you're seeking sex and heading there for it then perhaps this isn't the place for you. |
