A bit last minute, but we will be there too.
We were a bit 50/50 on this for the last week, as we have never been to this club before due to distance and clashes with other things, but after a great night last night we want to keep the weekend going in the same vain!
Now we are really looking forward to this, and especially Skin Two!

Can't comment for the others but we where very impressed with the place, and had a great time.
As it was a Skin Two fetish night it was a bit different to normal we were told and there was some entertainment laid on, but it was a good night.
Looking forward to going again, and will make the extra effort to travel the extra distance.
Next visit for sure will be the Fab's social on the 11th of May, hopefully we will meet a few more of you from here.  |

Well we enjoyed it because VA is a great club and we knew quite a lot of people there so socially it was great fun.
But it was not a great night from a Fet perspective. Considering that the promoters were trying to enforce a strict fetish dresscode on their website I think it is a bit of a pisstake that they don't make much effort to meet it themseleves. I'm not talking the VA staff, I mean people from SkinTwo - is a London Alternative Market polo shirt really fet wear?
A demonstartion of ropeplay where the rigger has his back to his audience and makes it pretty difficult to see is not great. But that's a huge imporovement on the dungeon mistress who felt it appropriatte to chat shit with a friend while we were using the equipment less than a metre away. Oh and no cleaning equipment in the dungeon.
SkinTwo were also promoting it as open till 4, the music stopped at 2 and we were pretty much the last to leave at 3.
We'd go again, but only because it was local and if there was nothing else on. As a Fet event we did not rate it and in all honesty wish we'd gone in to London for Subversion the night before.

Have to agree with you on the dungeon and bondage bit, we had a look round, saw a bit of the first demo and didn't go back. Can't comment on dress code enforcement as it passed us by LOL, we wore something and there were a lot of others dressed up as well.
After the floor show we headed for the pool and play rooms, and for us, it was a good evening in there so can't comment about what happened elsewhere.
It was our first vista to the club and we where impressed with the place as a whole, but recognise that it was not a typical night, so are looking forward to a regular night to see just how good it can be.
Sorry to hear the night for you, was not up to what you hoped it would be, but I hope you had fun anyway. |
