"What date does Lux Lounge open at the VA for weekends please ?
The Hello Summer Festival of Fun is taking place from 23rd to 25th May and will welcome the opening of Lux Lounge for the season. "

It would be great if Lux Lounge could open on at least 1 day during the week apart from events or weekends. The old kestrel garden was open throughout and always very popular, now nowhere like that, which is a shame and VA would be ideal |

I agree, it's very disappointing that they decided not to open. Maybe the running costs are not worth it? Or staffing issues? Though I'm sure if they advertise it early enough, not just within their actual opening hours, people would come. I'm only about 30min away from the club, and would love to be able to do some naked sunbathing, but I need some time to get organised. So only announcing at noon that the Lux Lounge is open is already taking at least an hour from my possible enjoyment of the place. What about people who are further away?
Also, on a slightly different note, it would be great that, once they do choose to be open, they had coffee available for their guests to buy. It can't be that difficult - all you need is a kettle and a jar of instant coffee, plus some milk. |

We were saying exactly the same thing, we’re 30 minutes away and would have loved to have gone, would have thought it better to state whether it’s open or not the night before |

Yep the same for us. We are about an hour and a half away so we’d need to set off to get to the VA for opening time to get good vfm. The current setup is baffling. We really looked forward to using the Luxe facilities this summer but we’ve knocked it on the head as no one seems to know when it’s open. |

Hi they have replied to my email, apparently this weekend that had staffing issues hence it wasn’t open.
Fingers crossed they get it sorted as it’s such a shame if can’t be used more. They would definitely get the up take. |

Yes we are the same , it seems a bit of a waste of time really and such a shame because of all the unusually hot weather we are experiencing.
No doubt , open again when it’s grey , miserable and spitting with rain Lol ! |

We’re really sorry that the luxx was not open but we literally had no staff to cover it with no warning.
2 are out of the country on holiday, one got married and one hospitalised.
It’s not a cost cutting exercise as someone suggested as it’s the opposite of that if everything is there but we take no money!!
One if those things that we literally could do nothing about.
Really sorry but as long as the weathers good it will be open Saturday this week |

Could you tell us what the policy is with opening though please, and how we would know in advance? Is there a general time that the website is updated in order for people to plan ahead? We’ve looked at previous hot weekends (not the one with the staffing issues) and it was still listed as closed? |

I uncrossed them about 2 weeks ago or so and just rejoined my local nudist club. No fun there, but at least we can go whenever we're free and the weather is good. |

The only club policy I am aware of is them changing the status on their website from "closed" to "open" on the day, usually very close to 12 noon (their opening times). A lot of the times, we'd look for Steed's status update, to check if Lux Lounge was being opened on that day. |
