I’ve been a few times but not for a while.
It used to be as simple as parking up and walking up and over the mound to the nudist beach section although I’ve heard they have now removed the parking by digging a large trench. Still a small amount of parking available but only 3-4 spaces from what I’ve read.
If you miss these then parking is further away and it’s a small trek up to the naturist section.
Nice beach though and very rude at times

"Hi, has anyone been to the nudist beach at Leysdown on the Isle of Sheppey? If so is it easy to park, easy to get to and how is it please?"
The parking is limited but you can usually find a space before 9:30am.
It’s worth a visit. |

This use to be the most amazing place and if the sun was out it was always busy.
However, the parking is now terrible, this has driven away most people, particularly couples.
The last few occasions that we've attended it was fairly empty, and those that were there seemed to be just gay men. Although they seemed to have fun. 😁
The farmer dug the trench due to dogging activities around the car parking, and after lots of complaints to the police etc.
Such a shame as we loved it here, and you could have fun in the long grass without creating a complaint 👍 |

‘twig.sobs.stupidly’ will get you there on what three words.
As has been said, the roadside parking was ruined by a trench being dug all along it, but I haven’t actually been down there for a couple of years. The small car park at the nature reserve can take approx 8 or 9 cars, but I think the locals moaning about ‘activity’ on the beach (which the cynic in me would wonder if it led to the ruining of the roadside parking). |
