How many memberships do you have ?

Jump to: Newest in thread

I’ve been looking into local clubs and am thinking of signing up for two. The membership fees are £110 for both and it works out to about £120 a month if I attend an event at each club. I don’t want to sound stingy but is this normal? I’m not sure if these prices are considered cheap or expensive. Could anyone give me some guidance on what’s typical?

Also, any tips on if you were me, how would you approach this ?

Go to a social at ignite and get 6 months free membership.

Hellfire doesn't have any membership fees.

All depends on which clubs you're looking at. Some sting single men on membership, others don't. It is still going to cost you, on average, £20-£30 in membership but some charge that much per year, whereas others charge one membership fee per lifetime (this is getting very rare now though, lifetime membership). Depending on the event, single men pay £25+ entry fees per event. Swinging is not a cheap hobby.

I have been thinking about getting a membership to a particular club but it's £50 per couple per year. It's not a club me and my partner could get to regularly enough to justify that price. And even though our friends keep encouraging us to attend an event there, it's just not economical.

OP, have a realistic look at the clubs you're looking at. How likely are you to use both memberships? Maybe choose one, see how you get on with the club, before jumping to another?

I wouldn't bother with clubs as a single male. The clubs are targeted at couples and only use men to fill the til. The couples in the clubs never seem to have anything good to say about blokes in clubs either. I believe "Wanking dead" is the term they use.

All seems abit toxic, especially if your paying a premium.

I go to the porn cinemas in the midlands (Foxy Lady, Angels & Sinners). Generally, more relaxed and no membership. The couples who attend these cinemas actually want attention from groups of men.

you don't need a membership for pleasures in Kent you just need to phone up on the Friday you want to attend to get your name on the list.

There are single men who do very well in clubs, and it has nothing to do with how many inches they're "packing" or how chiselled they are. It has all to do, though, with how they treat other club goers and the club visits.

"Wanking Dead" more than earned that nickname. If you follow women/couples everywhere, cock in hand, without ever saying anything, how would you like the ones being followed to respond to that?

I disagree entirely with this view of clubs.

thanks for sharing in depth. i guess i have the privlige of being a single male, hence the prices fair enough. i thought to myself that i should have atleast so i could not look bad if i start to frequent. i guess im nervous even before getting 1 memebership. i'll definitely take your advice and stick to 1 club for now. definitely VA since its the closer one

ive only been to a house party once. these va & op4f seem to be proper clubs unless im mistaken.

Be sure to check the details. For your single male premium price plan. You have to pre-book to attend and can still be turned away if the ratios aren't as desired. Also, you will be completely barred from some nights.

Hope you have fun.

It’s a sad shame that you have ended up with this opinion based upon your experiences.

However, we are a couple that attend clubs only on occasions when single guys are welcome and we make every effort to be sociable and considerate to the single guys present.

We don’t even mind the guys that only want to follow her around and watch.

We aren’t alone in this and know several other couples with a similar mindset and MO.

OP, I'm guessing it's going to be your 1st club? If yes, I probably wouldn't recommend VA for that as it's open play only which could be intimidating for newbies. It's great for voyeurs though.

I'd suggest you do a better research and check out 2 clubs not that far from VA that could be a better option, and are not going to cost you an arm and a leg, unless you choose some premium events.

I have two memberships: Ignite and Our Place for Fun both in London. I’m also a regular at the Scarlet Chamber in Southampton, but that doesn’t charge membership.

I usually go to Ignite at least once a month, with one of my girlfriends who is also a member. I have 2-3 comets I see there regularly as well. Annual membership £25 and then try to do couples entry whenever pissible.

I’ve been to Our Olace for fun once exploring with a FWB. Pricey: £50 for the year but excellent mirror room. Went as singles: mistake: I forked out for £100 for the night.

Scarlett Chamver offers best value for money: £30 for a single male entry and good fun in both occasions.

Going to check out Portsmouth Irgasmatron and some clubs in Bournemouth in due course.

Here, There, Everywhere

Try the VA … it’s a very welcoming, friendly club with a great members base

You can’t go wrong and they have onsite hotel rooms as an added bonus

Take no heed to their being no “lock away rooms”, the VA play rooms are tastefully decorated and the lighting is perfect… trust us you will feel liberated

On our first night at a club last year the 'wanking dead' was absolutely accurate. We started having a little fun in the cinema and suddenly we were surrounded by four wanking guys. We had to tell them to back off and give us some space. We didn't mind them watching but they were almost on top of us.

Then we observed groups of men just following people around the club trying to get as close to any action as possible. This is why we've spent a year only going to couple's nights.

I have no doubt there are great single guys at clubs but they should be more annoyed by the wanking dead than anyone because they give them a bad name.
