I think I’m ready for my first club visit and we have plans to be in the East Midlands area late November/early December. If needs be we can visit anywhere between Hertfordshire and the East Midlands, but the nearer to the East Midlands the better.
My husband won’t be playing with others and I’m going without expectations - if we end up playing with each other we will have still taken a huge step together.
Anyway, my question is which club are we likely to find more single guys? That’s my/our preference, as opposed to couples, at this stage anyway. Should I reach out to people who visit these places beforehand or do we go in raw so to speak
Please don’t use this post as a way to private message me as I delete any messages from people outside Kent anyway.
Thanks |

We can definitely recommend Liberty Elite in between Rugby and Leicester but you would need to attend on a Friday if wanting to meet single males as Saturdays are exclusive for females & couples. They have the added bonus of onsite accommodation as well which is super handy and £90 for the night I believe (gets booked up quick so book early). Alternatively, (we’ve never been as it’s a bit close to home for us) we’ve heard the Attic in Derby has single males attend in abundance and can attend all events. |

Another vote for Libs.
Take a look at the Vanilla to Vixen events as they’re aimed at club newbies as much as regulars. There’s an online chat which allows you to connect easily with others going beforehand too. If it’s specifically men you’re looking to meet, their Friday Vegas Vixen nights allow single men in. Their next two events are Saturdays so couples and single women only but it gets you to a club on a nervous newbie sympathetic night and might mean you’re more comfortable with other nights!
There’s also the Queens of the Scene events on the first Friday of the month or Hot Wives Club there too. |

We’ve not been to Libs so cannot comment on that. Have been to The Attic a lot and never had a bad night. Great venue, crowd and the staff can’t do enough for you. If you’re new you’ll get a tour, no membership needed just turn up and BYOB |

Both good recommendations, but each club has a significantly different vibe...
The Attic - Requires no membership which means no one is vetted and anyone can wander in, it's relatively cheap to go in, so accessible for the majority. This means on party nights it's likely to be busy, sometimes with hundred of people in attendance. It's very much a night club type vibe, there are lots of rooms to play in but they're all 'wipe clean' type beds etc. You're far more likely to be followed around by single guys whether you want them to or not. That said, the staff are great if someone crosses a line, it's usually a good vibe and it's cheap and cheerful.
Libs - You have to fill in a membership form upon arrival and provide photo ID to prove who you are and be added to the system, on your second visit you'll pay your yearly membership fee and the entrance is more expensive than some clubs. This does however mean that the people who attend are more seriously into the scene and are less likely to be time wasters or let downs. You may not end up with hundreds of men, but the ones you get will have been vetted by the club and maybe even by the host too if you go on a hosted night. The hot tub is a big draw for people and beds have real bedding on! There is a social area by the bar with no play so if you want to leave hubby somewhere, it's ideal. They have a licences bar which is reasonably priced but overall is a more expensive night but think classy wine bar type of vibe.
As I said, quite different experiences, we've done both over the years and do still enjoy both/either at different times!
Hope that helps!! |

"If you’re looking for single males then I would suggest the Attic in Derby and maybe their GG night on a Thursday? "
H9nestly I wouldn't for their 1st time soon as they see a women all the men are like vultures and follow them, so the women feel overwhelmed and there seems to be a certain demographic there on Thursdays. the club even state not to for 1st timers |

Our experience of liberty elite on a night when single guys were apparently “welcome” was a bit of a wash out.
About half a dozen very heavily vetted guys who were clearly regulars and seemed to know everybody.
Jaydees we found to be a much better night.
Perhaps it was just the nights we chose though which can be a thing with any clubs.
If you’re in Kent then Pleasures on a Friday night can be a lot of fun when single guys are welcome. |
