Very aware that single guys dont have the best reputation especially at clubs (also witnessed it).

Been to a club a couple of times by my self had a great time chatted and had a drink, played some pool too. It was pretty intimidating to talk to people especially in groups in the jaccuzi say.

Any advice on how to slide into a conversation without sounding or looking like a strange man?

Don't talk about sex from the start basically 🤣 Yes you're at a swingers club, but it's so off-putting when a guy's opener is "so do you play" or "are you bi" etc. Normal chat is great, what's your name, nice jacuzzi isn't it, you been here many time before etc.

Thank you. To be fair the pool table helped strike up the conversation the very first time I went

Depends who you're talking to IMO...

A SF... maybe something as casual as, do you fancy having a walk around?

But to be honest I think honesty and bluntness is good...

Say- 'if you fancy playing at all this evening I would love to'

I think as a general swingers are shit at picking up vague signals

As a couple - we like directness, it avoids wasting time on both sides

Second this. Treat me like a person first then I might want to have sex. If i get treated like an object from the off then it's an immediate no.

Everyone will have different expectations but if you're feeling isolated, the ideal goal is social engagement and this probably shouldn't be limited to those who you possibly want sex with.

As such, it can differ little from every other environment. And respect and friendliness are welcome as absolute minimums.

People will assess you as different from the problem types, when youe behaviour is different. That shouldn't be hard

For me? I go to have fun. But fun doesn’t just mean play, it can mean talking, chatting, enjoying the music and atmosphere.

Yes, you’re in a sex club… but that doesn’t mean that’s all people care about.

Making friends socially to me is just as important, and it’s actually a big thing for blame before I play. I won’t just play with people without even chatting, I need at least something to work with!
