We're off to the VA on the 15th and looking to meet a couple during the day pre-club for something to eat and stretch out the weekend.

Can anyone recommend somewhere nice? Beefeater, Harvester or large pub type place?

Xxxx

We concur...much better than a chain pub...really good food and good value too...

The monkey particularly liked the filthy looking barmaid too...

There is no comparison between the little chef and the bridge. The little chef is only good for a last resort breakfast .

All of the pubs in St Neots or Sandy serve good food, we have eaten at nearly all of them and not had a bad meal yet

The Bridge is ok if you like Beefeaters, but the Chequers is twenty times better, and its only a stones throw away, have been to them all lol, have lived there over 60 years, Cornfields is really good too, as is Ye Olde Plough,Bolnhurst, and they are all about the same distance away.
