Melrose

I seem to recall hearing somewhere that guys without their own Chameleons membership can get access to the club as guests of existing members - has anyone ever done that? We'd love to go with a friend of ours we've been playing with since 2012

The answer, apparently, is photo ID and £45

I know when someone does this for a man the cost is more than normal entry. I'm not sure on couples, so it may be worth ringing the club and finding out, they're always there and answering the phones

I wonder whether the equality act should apply to swingers clubs. I could be wrong but if a club charges a single guy more than a couple to enter if this means discrimination under the sex protected characteristic.

It's been done to death on the forum. Try doing a forum search. Pretty much covered under being private members clubs.

Just had a look at the government website and apparently it is discrimination. The act applies to private clubs as well.

Maybe there should be an entire section of the forum dedicated to Equalities and Diversity?

Back on topic - did you get this info from the club? Just curious if this is definitely the case.

. I think most people would prefer to see single guys being charged more . If they are not charged more , clubs would be flooded with them..

or make it cheaper but just cap the number of single guys depending on the night/event?

near the sounds of the wimborne quarter jack!

I don`t think a single guy can attend as a guest of another single guy though but I stand to be corrected on that!

Not sure whether a single guy can sign in another single but chams have let us sign in different guests before. It was £45 and they did need ID. Both went onto join but I'm not sure if this one off gets knocked off the membership fee.

Give them a call or drop an email - all the staff there are great & really helpful and will give you the definitive answer.

Or maybe mate keep it the way it is at least if you do this you know the guys are genuinely in the scene even though you do still get some dickheads not as many as you would if you dropped the price
