Two very different places which cater for different needs. Rio's is ok but mainly indoors. They do have a very small garden for sunbathing. The indoor facilities are 2nd to none. 2 big jacuzzi's, 1 huge 20 person jacuzzi, 3 big steam rooms, 2 big sauna's that can take 10 plus people each and a small freezing cold plunge pool. Lots of decent sized lockable rooms for playing. Not many true naturists go there. It's got an odd vibe. You should go one night. Probably best to go on a Saturday when it's couples only and they open up the upstairs tv/orgy room.
Mon, Tues and Wed evening are supposed to be naturist only.
Kestrels probably is better suited to proper naturist couples. Fantastic pool but limited on the steam room and sauna front.  |

If it is your first visit to a club and you are veering more towards the naturist side of things then I would probably go with Kestrels. The hot tubs are fine although they are only 6 (ish ) people ones and there is no plunge pool. However, if the weather is good then there is lots of outdoor sunbathing and people watching space. If the weather is not so good you have part of the house, the hot tubs, the pool and the dungeon. More than enough to keep you happy and entertained for plenty of time. |

Kestrels, hands down. Comparing the two is like chalk and cheese, I'ms till not sure why Rios keeps coming up in conversation like a swingers club when it really isn't. Its a naturist spa that, according to management, has nothing to do with swinging: it however started as a discrete venue for people looking to play behind their partner's back and made use of the restrooms for that. Over time, swingers started to attend. If you do go to Rios and ask about the play rooms, they will deny knowing what you're on about. |

Go to Kestrals, it might be more expensive but the facilities are great and it's very well run, only bad thing is due to the club being quite spread out, it can make it a bit hard to strike up a conversation as there's no real central social area.
Rio's is a dive with little play unless you like being stalked by "gentlemen" that lack the ability to even talk to a woman before attempting to grope them. How it has stayed open for so long is baffling as its been a dive full of the desperate and rude for at least the past ten years or more. |
