Kinda new to this lifestyle but have heard many glowing repprts about the old kestrals.

Dont know why it shut or in fact need to know but i am curious what with the anticipation from some people of the a new one opening.

Will it be the same?, will it be better/ worse?

I imagine what made the original so enjoyable for everyone was the atmosphere and people who attended. I do hope that it is well recieved and look forwatd to going to this almost iconic establishment once up and running

I assume you have checked the web site? Not much there but the message seems to indicate they have pulled the finance together to start the refurbishment work and plan to open, hopefully, late spring. If that all goes to plan then that sounds like good news to me Be nice if the pricing was a little more sympathetic to single guys in the new venue - got used to the Zeus rates

Following ... I loved that place! It’s lovely when, as a single bi female ( yes a mythical unicorn!!) you find a venue/club that you’re happy attending solo. I used to visit fortnightly during the summer months, take a book, picnic, shades and relax by the pool!!! ( I must say, the book didn’t often get picked up!!!)

Please let them reopen soon!!!

No outdoor space by the looks of it but the indoor pool looks awesome.

Kestrels was wonderful, as the song says You don't know what you got untill it's gone.

But looking forward to kestrels MK2.

Well done for the owners making the effort after the fines and court cases.

I did a drive by viewing of the venue this week. The sign outside still only says Terms Agreed. It doesn't look like any work has begun whatsoever. No skip outside, no workmen on site. In terms of will it be the same or different to Kestrals 1, firstly there's no outdoor area/space whatsoever so it won't have lawns/outdoor pool. I thnk it will be more like Chams. Deffo not the same as the original Kestrals/AbFab.

I agree, but it's gone, everything changes and there's nothing with a decent pool in London so it will be 100% better than where we are today

They use the location to build the third Heathrow runway

"They use the location to build the third Heathrow runway"

There is not going to be any building of the third runway for quite a while which means it’s a viable site for a New Kestrels, plus any future compulsory purchase has to be at an advantageous rate so it will be a good deal financially.

And if that happens then hopefully they will be able to find another suitable venue for Kestrels Mk3

"Which area is it in. ?"

It's on the north west corner of Heathrow on the A4. If they stick a hot tub on the roof passengers in planes taking off on the northern runway over Windsor are going to get an amazing view!

Patience.... It takes time to pull something like this together. Late spring seems optimistic but if they've bought the new venue and got the finance to refurbish it.... They'll get there.

I think I can now say "in your face"

You've been nothing but a naysayer of the new project since it began. Glad to see they are making progress and looking forward to enjoying the new club.

I got an update today, it looks like they are moving forward and there are details on their website. They are hoping to open late spring.

They will be selling food and drinks at the new venue

They are also hiring.

I'm very excited to visit the new venue.
